We have been offering a wide range of health and beauty services for over a decade in the comfort of our clients’ own homes, offices, hotels, cottages, and at corporate events. With our website, you can easily book your service(s), and Wink and Wave will send a health and beauty expert to you.

Our flexible hours, accommodating schedule, and an extensive list of beauty and wellness services help make feeling and looking good easy – and we come to you! You can also visit us at one of our many locations.

With a unique background in fine arts and Canadian media, plus an astute mind for business, Toronto-based beauty entrepreneur, Aimee Sloggett, created Wink and Wave. Wink and Wave offers everything from organic spray tans to hair extensions to cosmetic injections and much more. Wink and Wave’s team of “mobile health and beauty experts” can be booked online within flexible service hours. We cater to your beauty and wellness needs in the comfort and privacy of your own home.

Wink and Wave is the first Toronto-based company to turn the traditional salon model on its head. We have a unique and flexible approach. You are constantly juggling many roles – thinking about your family, friends and co-workers — and you often leave yourself out of the equation. Meet the Team

Aimee Sloggett

FOUNDER & OWNER

Initially planned as a side hustle, Aimee Sloggett founded Wink and Wave in 2014, offering hair and lash extensions to a select client base. In 2018, after 15 years in the television industry, Aimee left her first career behind to focus on Wink and Wave full-time. With a bold vision and a resilient work ethic, she transformed Wink and Wave into the thriving, ever-expanding business it is today.

As our founder, Aimee is involved in all operations at Wink and Wave, from business development and partnerships to client bookings and customer service. While the company is constantly growing, you can still find Aimee providing the occasional beauty service, helping out at an event, and posting on social media because she loves the work, the team, the clients, and the community.

Most recently, Aimee has been leveraging her interior design background—a Bachelor of Design from OCADU and her experience as VP of Business Affairs of the hit TV show Love It or List It—to oversee the opening and renovation of the Wink and Wave Spa at Bala Bay Inn, opening summer 2024.

Aimee credits her success to the support of those near and dear to her, including her parents, the entire Wink and Wave team, her former entertainment industry colleagues, and the encouragement from early partners, including internet personality duo Cat & Nat. She believes that women supporting women and having strong female role models is invaluable for a small business owner like herself.

Jennifer Gairdner

OPERATIONS & EVENTS MANAGER

Jennifer is an experienced Operations and Events Manager with over a decade of extensive experience in orchestrating successful events and optimizing advertising efficiency. Throughout her career, Jennifer has demonstrated an exceptional ability to manage diverse teams, coordinate large-scale events, and streamline processes to enhance organizational performance.

Beginning her career in advertising, Jennifer quickly showcased a knack for meticulous planning and a keen eye for detail. Over the years, she has gained skills in project management, vendor negotiations, and budget management, ensuring every event she oversees is executed flawlessly and within budget.

A graduate of Western University with a degree in Health Science and a post graduate degree in Sports and Event Marketing from George Brown College, Jennifer remains committed to professional growth.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys playing tennis, spending time with her family and of course getting manicures and pedicures.

Megan Stulberg

MARKETING

Megan Stulberg is an award-winning content marketer with over a decade of experience in digital strategy, social media, video production, copywriting, illustration, and branding. Throughout her career, she has developed marketing strategies across various industries, including sports, TV & film, retail, cannabis, healthcare, insurance, urban development, skilled trades, and, of course, beauty and wellness.

Megan oversees Wink and Wave's marketing. She manages social media efforts for both our mobile services and our new spa at the Bala Bay Inn , executes branding and design work, and addresses web, editorial, print, and email content needs as they arise.

Raquel Scott

GRAPHIC & WEB DESIGN SPECIALIST

Raquel Scott has extensive knowledge in website design and development across various web hosting platforms, backed by over five years of experience in digital marketing. During this time, she discovered a deep passion for branding and website design.

Raquel's professional journey began in a different sphere—as a baker and cake decorator. She enjoys creating dream cakes for all special occasions. After studying Baking & Pastry Arts Management and managing a bakery in Toronto for several years, Raquel transitioned into graphic design, driven by her lifelong love for art and design.

Raquel studied Studio Art and Art History at the University of Toronto, and Graphic Design at Centennial College. Today, she creates stunning websites that help her clients showcase their products and services, blending her artistic sensibilities with technical expertise. She designed the Wink and Wave website, and currently manages all website updates and assists with all technical software.

In her free time, Raquel enjoys Muay Thai, baking/cake decorating, reading, crafting, and painting.
