Bala Bay Inn’s Spooky History
The Bala Bay Inn, built in 1910, is not only a historic landmark in Muskoka but has long been rumoured to be haunted. This inn has a rich history, including a name change, and has attracted visitors and ghost hunters alike due to numerous ghost stories and paranormal activities reported over the years.
Now, under Muskoka BeerSpa’s new ownership, it’s set to be an incredible getaway, and our spa is just one great component of it. You can find more information about plans for the Bala Bay Inn on the official website.
Setting the (Champagne) Bar
This is not your grandma’s spa…well, unless your grandma is a “Mimosa, hold the orange juice” kind of gal! With a champagne and beverage bar located right in the spa, you can enjoy your services set to include RMT massages, manicures, pedicures, facials, and group yoga classes – guests will be in for quite the treat.
Our Roadmap to Relaxation
The transformation of the Wink & Wave Spa at Bala Bay Inn is in full swing! The renovation began in January 2024 and we’re making great progress towards creating a rejuvenating space for our guests.

We offer daily yoga classes at the Bala Bay Inn. Classes are updated biweekly and must be booked ahead of time. Please note that there will be a cancellation fee if you cancel within 24 hours of the class. We’ll see you on the mat!
