We loved moving with you in 2024!
To meet growing demand for our spa and beauty offerings, Wink and Wave Spa at Bala Bay Inn has shifted to a limited, rotating weekly schedule of yoga and Pilates classes for the Spring/Summer 2025 season.
Classes will take place in our private outdoor space: a covered porch overlooking nature, far from traffic and crowds. With limited spots and peaceful surroundings, enjoy an intimate small-group setting designed for maximum privacy and relaxation.
The first class of the season kicks off Sunday, May 18th, with weekly classes ramping up later in June.

FAQs
All classes are 60 minutes long.
Each class has a maximum of 9 participants, creating a peaceful and intimate small-group experience.
All levels are welcome! Our classes are designed to be inclusive and accessible, whether you’re a beginner or more experienced.
Yoga mats are available on-site, but we recommend bringing your own if possible. Additional equipment, like yoga blocks, is provided as needed.
There are washrooms on-site that can be used for changing as well, located inside the Bala Bay Inn.
There is a designated room on-site to hang your belongings.
Yes, you can also enjoy one-on-one or small-group yoga sessions from the comfort of your home or cottage with our mobile yoga services in Muskoka all year-round. To learn more, text/call us at (416) 721-2008.
We ask that you pre-register online to reserve your spot, as spaces are limited. There is no guarantee that walk-ins can be accommodated.


Jasmine
Jasmine has been sharing her life affirming, non-judgemental and compassionate practice with students aged 0-99 in Muskoka and abroad for over 10 years. Jasmine is trained in Hatha, Kundalini, Core Strength Vinyasa, Pre and Post Natal, Yoga Warriors for Trauma and PTSD, and Thai Yoga Massage. Her thought provoking inspirations and meditations woven throughout the practice apply ancient wisdom, pave the way for spiritual growth and physical well being.

Lea
Lea is an educator and leader in the fitness and wellness scene passionate about building communities and shaping the future of how we consciously move our bodies. Integrating her 17 years of knowledge and training in holistic modalities, fitness and body mechanics, she has a dynamic approach to movement, combining therapeutic, creative, and time tested practices into classes that activate, heal and restore the physical and subtle bodies.

Paige
Paige is very passionate about teaching all types of physical movement to people of all ages. Paige is keen on teaching people how to move well, be and feel strong through all stages of life. Her Pilates classes will help target deep core work while incorporating movements that challenge all kinds of body mobility and strength. Paige is not only a ferried Pilates instructor on both mat and reformer but also a yoga instructor and swimming teacher giving her well rounded body movement knowledge.

Trinity
Trinity found yoga through a dedicated personal practice, then fell further in love with the practice once she began Hot Yoga with Bikram. Trinity is also an Energy / Body Worker and Certified Holistic Health Coach, through these practices she leads others to Whole-istic Wellbeing … Body, Mind and Soul. Trinity enjoys assisting others to find more balance, joy and peace in life. She looks forward to welcoming you to her Soulful Hatha Flow Classes.

Vanessa
Vanessa has always had a love of movement. It was through her training in classical ballet and acro as a child that she was first introduced to Pilates and it became an integral part of her dance training. She continued to explore her enduring love for movement throughout her adult life however it wasn't until she sustained significant injury that she discovered Pilates again and began to use it to recover and gain her strength back. Certified in Contemporary Pilates, Vanessa now uses her talent to guide each student not only to a more balanced and stronger self but also to a greater connection with movement of their own body.

Mat Pilates
Mat Pilates is a strengthening and lengthening form of exercises that focuses on core muscles/ strength, flexibility and mindful movement. Mat Pilates is based on the original classical exercises that Joseph Pilates originally developed to strengthen his own body. You’re in for a spicy workout all being led with proper body alignment in mind.

Hatha Yoga
Unwind and reconnect with Gentle Hatha, a gentle exploration of yoga's core principles. Delve into longer-held poses, focusing on alignment and breath awareness to promote relaxation and inner peace. From gentle stretches to supported postures and meditation, this class offers a sanctuary for self-reflection and rejuvenation, providing a holistic approach to well-being for all levels of practitioners.

Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Dive into the dynamic rhythm of breath and movement in our Vinyasa Flow class. Guided by the rhythm of your breath, this invigorating practice seamlessly weaves together a series of postures, creating a flowing sequence that energizes the body and calms the mind. Through mindful transitions, you'll explore a variety of poses, from sun salutations to standing balances, inversions, and backbends. Suitable for all levels, this practice fosters strength, flexibility, and mindfulness in a welcoming atmosphere.

Soulful Flow Yoga
This class flows through a grounding Yoga sequence to help open and energize the body and to restore balance from within. Deepen your understanding of the postures, alignment in the body, breathing and relaxation techniques.

Yogalates
Yogalates combines elements of yoga and Pilates, blending the flexibility and mindfulness of yoga with the core-strengthening and muscle-toning techniques of Pilates. This hybrid workout focuses on improving balance, posture, strength, and flexibility while promoting relaxation and mental well-being. Yogalates is suitable for all fitness levels and provides a low-impact, full-body workout that enhances both physical and mental health.
